Moringa and Anxiety
Researchers evaluated the effect of moringa oleifera leaves extract on cognitive function using Morris Water Maze Test. This is the industrial standard in behavioral neuroscience. They studied escape latency time on 7th and 14th day of administration using rat models. Acquisition and retention time of the animals after administering single dose of this extract was compared with the effect on 7th and 14th day administration. Dosage increases were 100 mg, 200 mg and 400 mg on the experiment and cognitive function was found to improve considerably.
